Dentelles de Cheval 2012

The ca. 10 cm long horseteeth were cut in 5mm slices and grouped together to form lacelike surfaces. The spaces in between the teeth were filled with epoxy. Dentelles is on one hand a reference to lace (it is the French word for lace), but also points to the French word la dent which means tooth.
