A Manger des Yeux 2003

My diploma work was inspired by baroque feasts. I made brooches for the table that reminded the glorious center pieces of that time. In addition I was learning about the old confectionars technique of blowing sugar. Such sugar pieces were very popular at this age. The pearl chain (which is made od blown sugar) for the table is a metaphor of a table setting at a dinner party.
